Five actors (3m, 2f) and a few props, simple roomset.

Jack and Mary are preparing themselves for yet another stultifyingly boring night in, when the doorbell rings unexpectedly.
What follows is a series of anarchic comic revelations, as we meet their friends Ted and Maureen, and the foursome proceed to get the wrong side of a bottle of whiskey.
Their antics are witnessed by a bemused Dennis, who only turns up to order a pair of brown flared trousers from Mary's catalogue, but ends up with a lot more than he bargained for.
This is the only play by David Tristram which is not published by Flying Ducks Publications, but by Samuel French. Copies are therefore only available from French’s, and not in the Online Shop.
This domestic comedy proved a great hit for the Flying Ducks when they premiered it at The Edinburgh Festival in 1990. On that occasion, the part of Dennis was played by Alan Devereux – better known to millions as Sid Perks, barman from the ever popular radio soap, The Archers.
